Employability and Careers

The Employability and Careers Centre offers careers information, advice and guidance throughout all the stages of our students' journey at the University which is extended to our alumni for three years after leaving the University.

Here is a brief outline of the services we offer:

  • One-2-one careers advice
  • CV checks and job application preparation
  • Preparation for assessment centres
  • Placement year advice and vacancies
  • Careers fairs and events programme
  • Employer led skills workshops
  • Advice on leaving or changing a course
  • Library for careers information and reference literature
  • On-line job vacancy service

As many students delay thinking about their careers until their final year, we want to encourage them to think about it from the outset.  Learn in more detail what we can offer by exploring the headings on the right hand side or visit our office to book an appointment with one of our careers advisers.
